The good weather takes us to travel, especially when we missed it so much. Now that the state of emergency has ended, we easily return to our goals a few months ago: holiday plans, new purchases and reviews with loved ones.

Even if we feel a little more familiar with the atmosphere that surrounds us, things have not yet entered a normal normal. That’s why it is important to know what are the measures for tourists imposed on planning a holiday this year.

Measures for tourists imposed by European countries

Tourism is a significant part of the global economy and its restart announces some protective measures for the protagonists of the holidays. Although there have been a few difficult months both financially for all sectors of activity and social for each of us, the normal will gradually return.

The behavior and responsibility for security determine Europe to impose some measures to tourists, precisely in order not to follow another wave of diseases. Some countries have already announced their conditions and are preparing for the opening of tourism, others still discuss optimal solutions for travel safety. The gradual opening of tourism begins locally and each country will also receive foreign tourists.

Including airlines have adopted some passenger protection measures such as a special circuit both in the airport parking and inside, reorganizing internal routes for boarding, limiting the number of passengers in planes for the recommended social distance, etc. These are the current measures implemented by the airlines, but they can also be part of a gradual return and gradually are administered.

Europe wants to restart tourism, which has a crucial role in the global economy, on the labor market and in the social life of people. This is the reason why each country thinks of both the premises and tourists, trying to establish collaborations with neighboring countries to implement protective measures. Subsequently we will see the decisions of the main destinations for the holiday of Romanians.

Measures for tourists imposed by Romania

The summer season could be opened from June 15 and in addition to hygiene and disinfection recommendations every 4 hours, changes are announced in the reception activity and in the Horeca area of ​​each housing unit. More accurate:
• We will interact more online (check-in/ check-out, payments, accommodation recording, etc.) and at the reception we only get in possession of the key/ access in the room;
• The rooms will be equipped with strictly necessary, eliminating the objects that are not needed;
• Some hotels consider 24 hours as a waiting time between the accommodation in the same room for a wider disinfection;
• In the Horeca area, entrepreneurs in tourism announce the social distance between meals and a control of the number of people in the room.

Measures for tourists imposed by Greece

Greece plans to reopen the summer season on June 15, but access to foreign tourists will be allowed gradually (the first countries chosen on epidemiological criteria in Greece are Romania, Cyprus, Israel, China, Japan, Australia, Bulgaria, Serbia, Poland, Hungario and the Czech Republic).

Initially Greece has announced a necessary health passport for those who opt for a leave this summer, but have given up on the idea and fixed new protection measures:
• the beaches cannot be crowded;
• Access to the deck chair is made only with towel and disinfection between customers;
• the distance between them will be 4 m (also in plexiglass on some beaches);
• the terraces will only be opened take away;
• Each beach will have a hotel available to be transformed into a Quadranti hotel (if new cases appear);
• Tele-medicine system that will support hoteliers in the tourists of tourists;
• The buffet tables will not be established.

Measures for tourists imposed by Spain

Spain, one of the countries most affected by the Pandemia del Coronavirus, has announced that it opens tourism for foreigners from 1 July.

And because, like other countries, Spain wants tourism to be safe for visitors, but also for the inhabitants, has announced some protective measures:
• safety distances and controlled number of people on the beach;
• Test at the entrance of the hotels;
• internal reorganization of restaurants, digital menus (open restaurants at the beginning of 11 May);
• beaches with special program for children and the elderly (avoiding vulnerable people);
• In the hotel the luggage of tourists will be disinfected outside and will receive protective equipment (masks, gloves and gel).

Measures for tourists imposed by Italy

Italy is the first European country to impose restrictions at national level starting from March, to limit the spread of the virus. From 4 May the relaxation of the measures began and the tourism will open from June 3, both internal and that for foreigners, obviously with imposed protective measures:
• social distance, including accommodation units with signs of applied information (included in the elevator and in the restaurant area);
• disinfectant accessible to tourists in the hotel reception areas;
• employees wear reception protection equipment;
• The formalities of accommodation should be made as much as possible online to minimize contacts with the hotel employees;
• gloves for baggage management;
• hygiene of access keys in the room;
• In restaurants: complete protective equipment for cooking staff, use of disposable products, toilet -social services (bread bowl);
• Table faces change after each tourist.

Measures for tourists imposed by Türkiye

Turkey opens its tourist season in early June with the same cure for travelers:
• At the entrance of the hotel, employees take the temperature of tourists;
• rooms with termination;
• the luggage will be disinfected and sent directly to the rooms;
• The buffet menu will be forbidden at the expense of the service to the table, in US containers without (including the reception, disposable pens will be used);
• The accommodation chambers will be disinfected with the help of ultraviolet lamps;
• 24h waiting time between the occupation of the rooms by tourists;
• the lift will be used by a single person (except families);
• Social distance on beaches and swimming pool.

In addition to the protection measures for tourists imposed by European countries, they also announced the support they offer during the holidays: they pay part of the costs of their holidays to tourists.

For example, Sicily is thinking of paying half the air ticket price and a third of the accommodation, while Greece temporarily reduces the value added tax (VAT) on all means of transport (flights, bus trips and train trips – 13% from 24%).

Even if it has only passed half this year, we can already say that it is atypical. The first months were a challenge, they tested our limits and we loaded our emotions, they motivated us to take more steps before or in other directions. So we have all the reasons to put the money aside, to choose the security measures that convince us to prepare our luggage and enjoy a well on, quiet and freedom.
